KEYSER — Three bands, a number of elected officials, and various organizations have signed up this year to participate in the Mineral County Veterans Day Parade scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday in downtown Keyser.
The parade is under the direction again this year of attorney Roy “Tuck” Hardy, who recently expressed his delight that the Keyser High School Golden Tornado Band, the 249th West Virginia Army National Guard Band, and the Garrett County Highlands Pipes and Drums will all three be taking part in the parade.
Participants are being asked to line up from First Street south to Ward Avenue beginning at noon and the parade will move promptly at 1 p.m., proceeding north on Main Street to Armstrong Street and then right onto Armstrong.
“They can disband when they get to Water Street,” Hardy said.
The lineup is as follows:
