There’s a new face of beauty in town — the Full Volume Hair & Nail Salon located at 191 Armstrong Street, across from Clancy’s Irish Pub — a full service salon specializing in cuts, perms, straighteners, highlights, color, waxing and nail design.
Owner Bri Smith, a cosmetologist and nail artists of seven years, opened her doors for business Monday.
“I’ve always wanted to open my own place,” said Smith. “I wanted to do it for the freedom, increased income, and to take better care of my son, Kaaden.”
Specializing in modern and classic cuts, Smith regularly attends hair shows to learn the latest trends in hair artistry.
“I go to all of the big hair shows,” said Smith. “I’ve been to the Paul Mitchell Signature Gathering in Las Vegas, and the Fashion Focus show in Baltimore.”
One goal she has for her business is to “bring the trends that you see on TV to Keyser.” 
“People around here need to be updated,” said Smith, about local residents’ hairstyles.
Smith says her salon is very unique in that she is the only beautician; therefore, she’s able to give her clients “more attention to detail.”
“We offer all the latest styles and products in a very friendly, low-key atmosphere,” she said. “You can come in and relax in a non-hectic, but trendy, salon that will pamper you to the fullest.”
Full Volume Hair & Nail Salon welcomes walk-ins at Smith’s availability.
Hours of operation are Monday and Wednesday from 11 a.m.- 8 p.m., Tuesday from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m., Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., and every other Saturday from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
