Dr. Ronna Monseau to address Potomac State graduates

Keyser native and Potomac State alumna, Ronna Mathias Monseau, M.D., will deliver keynote remarks this year at the Potomac State College of West Virginia University 105th Annual Commencement Ceremony.
The event will be held Saturday, May 10, at 11 a.m., in the Church-McKee Arts Center.
Dr. Monseau is an emergency physician with WVU Hospitals and Monongalia General Hospital in Morgantown, the United Hospital Center in Clarksburg, and Potomac Valley Hospital in Keyser.
Prior to her current employment, she worked with Med Express Urgent Care in Morgantown, Camden Clark Hospital in Parkersburg, Wheeling Hospital Emergency Department in Wheeling, and Preston Memorial Hospital in Kingwood.
She earned her medical degree from the WVU School of Medicine in 1996 where she was named the Outstanding Emergency Medicine Student.
She served her residency with the WVU Hospital Emergency Medicine Residency from 1996 to 1999.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from WVU and her associate of arts degree in biology from PSC.
Dr. Monseau is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians (FACEP).
She has also been a member of the Emergency Medicine Residents’ Association.
Dr. Monseau serves on the board of directors and as an assistant coach for Girls on the Run of Monongalia County. She is also a volunteer sports physicals coordinator for the National Youth Sports Program.
She is vice president of Morgantown Multisport and is a member of the Board of Directors for Sprint, Splash and Spin.
