KEYSER — The line-up has been announced for the first Mineral Bowl Parade, scheduled for 7:30 p.m. tonight in downtown Keyser.
The parade is designed as a celebration of the classic rivalry between the two Mineral County high schools, and is open to supporters of both the Golden Tornado and Falcons.
It will line up on the side streets in South Keyser and move north on Main Street, taking the traditional parade route onto Armstrong Street and disbanding at Keyser Square.
Participants are being asked to begin lining up at 6:45 p.m. according to the following schedule:
Fort Avenue: Keyser Mayor and City Council, Keyser High School RAZE Crew, Keyser High School Homecoming Court.
First Street (between Main and Davis streets): The Mineral County Paintball League, Krista Dixon (candidate for Mineral County circuit clerk), Miss Tornado Jordan Derryberry.
First Street (between Main and Water streets): Rees Chapel United Methodist Church, Mini Tornado cheerleaders, Mini Tornado football team,.
Second Street: Keyser Steeler cheerleaders, Keyser Steeler football teams.
Third Street: Keyser High School Athletic Boosters, Keyser High School Golden Tornado Marching Band.
Cross Street: Keyser High School cheerleaders, and the Keyser High School football team.
All units are being asked to refrain from throwing candy or other favors to the crowd.

Keyser and Frankfort will clash Friday night on the turf at Alumni Stadium at Tornado Alley in the 2009 version of the Mineral Bowl.
