KEYSER – The Mineral County Chamber of Commerce has moved its office to a more central location on Main Street in downtown Keyser.
Located at 40 ½ No. Main St., in the center section of the building that housed Gardner's Hardware many years ago and more recently was occupied by a variety store, the office offers a brighter atmosphere and more room in order to better serve the public.
“I'm just delighted to be down here where I'm more accessible and easily found by the public,” said Anne Palmer, executive director of the chamber.
With the new, larger office, the chamber – along with the Mineral County Convention and Visitor's Bureau – is now able to offer an expanded selection of brochures and information from Mineral County, West Virginia, and many other locales.
It also affords the room to display photos and memorabilia from the over 10 years of trips to Charleston for Mineral County Days at the Legislature.
Palmer invites the public to stop by and check out the new office.
“I am really looking forward to working with the public from this new location,” she says.
She also wants the public to know that the chamber's telephone number remains the same – 304-788-2513.
