Alt draws less

KEYSER, W.Va. -

Three-hundred and fifty-three voters came out to the polls Tuesday to elect new council members for the city of Keyser.
Isaac “Sonny” Alt  received the least amount of votes on the four-seat, five-name ballot. Alt had 163 votes.
William Rhodes took home the most votes at 259; Ed Miller came in second at 237; David Sowers clenched third with 234 votes; and James Endler rounded out the new council with 222 votes.
These men ‘pass Go’ and will be sworn in in July as the new Keyser city council members.
Harry Likens received one right-in vote; current council member Marques Rice received two write-in votes; and Roger Newlin received one write-in vote.
