KEYSER — Mineral County Technical Center agriculture instructor Carol Webb was presented with the Southern States Leadership Award recently at the 2009 State FFA Convention. 
The award is presented to a member of the agricultural education community who has contributed his  or her talents on the local, state and national level. 
Webb, who has taught in Mineral County since 1990, has been an instrumental leader in improving agricultural education curriculum in animal science, aquaculture and horticulture. She has also spent countless hours supervising student trips and training judging teams to help students succeed.
Webb resides in Burlington with her husband Eddie and daughter Megan, who received the West Virginia Star in Agribusiness Award at this year’s convention.
