Lifestyle Fitness Center in Keyser — which suffered a devastating fire in October — celebrated its grand reopening this weekend.
Terry Stephens, managing partner, invited the public to visit and tour the facilities.
He notes that in the rebuild they have tried to keep the best features of the old facility, while upgrading the quality and equipment offerings.
The new Fitness Center will include a room dedicated for group fitness and classes.
This had limited the previous center in their offerings and was one of the priorities as they rebuilt.  The room is already booked for self defense classes, a series of nutrition classes to be presented by Anita Farley of the WVU Extension office,  a Heart Health talk, and martial arts.
Other classes will be incorporated in the near future.
More upgrades include cutting edge cycle training equipment, new strength and aerobic equipment, and major upgrades in the free weight room.
The facility has a whole new look both inside and out as remodeling of the Lifestyle Building continues with upgrades to the 13 existing apartments located on the upper floors.
The public is invited to visit the center from 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. on Friday, from 8:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. on Saturday and 11:00 am.-3:00 p.m. on Sunday.  For additional information the center can be reached at (304) 788-7779.
Lifestyle Fitness Center is located at 126 Spring Street on the Corner of Fort Avenue across from Potomac State College.
