• Sheriff White, Chief Deputy Sabin, DFC Reall, DFC Chris Leatherman and Deputy Weakley accounted for 16 Summons and Subpoenas served.
• Chief Deputy Sabin investigated a single motor vehicle accident on US Route 50 near Burlington. Leora Jean Davis of Rio was traveling west on US Route 50 when she lost control of her vehicle and went over an embankment.
A passenger in the vehicle was transported to the Potomac Valley Hospital by Burlington VFD ambulance.
• DFC Reall served a bailiff in Magistrate Court for a jury trial.
• Chief Deputy Sabin arrested Dawn Lynn (Walters) Blake, age 25 of keyser for Contrempt of Court for Failing to pay child support. Blake was trasnported to the Mineral County Detention Center and later was released after posting a $500.00 bond with Circuit Court.
• DFC Chris Leatherman assisted a disabled motorist at the intersection of East Piedmont Street and Mineral Street.
• Deputy Weakley responded to a two vehicle accident on State Route 28 in Wiley Ford at 1530 hours. Terry Snyder was operating a 1989 Chevrot Blazer which was stopped in the north bound lane awaiting to turn into Press’ Market. Brittany Kay Miller of Romney was operating a
2000 Ford Focus. Miller collided her front end into the rear end of the Snyder vehicle. Both drivers were transported to Cumberland Memorial Hospital for minor injuries.
• Deputy Weakley assisted a disabled motorist on State Route 46 east of Patterson Creek Road.
• DFC Chris Leatherman responded to the Van Myra Restaurant in Burlington for a Domestic situation. Incident is under investigation.
• Cpl. Wingler and DFC Chris Leatherman assisted a tractor trailer on Route 46 near Keymont in turning around.
• DFC Smith arrested Timothy Wayne Smith, age 36 of Ridgeley for DUI. Smith was arrested after being stopped for a traffic violation on State Route 28. Smith was transported to PD Keyser for processing and later incarserated in the Mineral County Detention Center.
