Friday, March 12
9:49 p.m. — Keyser City Police received a call about a disturbance at the Keyser House on North Main Street, with a resident's guest refusing to leave. Upon arrival, officers observed pills on the floor, and following a consent search of the guest's purse, found 33 pills for which the woman did not have a prescription. Charged with possession of a controlled substance was Rose E. Talbert, 50, of Richwood, W.Va.
Saturday, March 13
3:20 a.m. — Police received a call about a single-vehicle accident on South Mineral Street, near Markwood Funeral Home. Upon arrival, officers found a white utility truck stuck on a retaining wall at the business. Charged with first-offense DUI was Robert J. Zaccaria Jr., 27, of Johnstown, Pa.
8:10 p.m. — Police received a call about a domestic disturbance at a residence on C Street, with loud yelling coming from the home. Upon arrival, officers were advised by the resident that he had been arguing on the phone with his girlfriend. A subsequent records check on the resident found that he was wanted in New York for violation of probation. Taken into custody as a fugitive from justice was William J. Barmore, 36, of Keyser.
Police said Magistrate Court gave Barmore a bond of $800, which he posted. When New York authorities contacted the court, officials in the Magistrate's office could not advise them as to Barmore's whereabouts.
