KEYSER, W.Va. -

The investigation into the Tuesday death of a 38-year-old Keyser man is continuing, with officials awaiting the results of an autopsy and toxicology report before they can determine cause of death.
The case of Scott Riggleman, whose body was found in his sister’s Fountain-area home, is currently classified as “unattended/unknown,” according to Mineral County Medical Examiner Chris Guynn. Guynn said there were no visible signs of trauma.
West Virginia State Police are leading the investigation.
According to Guynn, the body was taken to the Office of Chief Medical Examiner in Morgantown, where an autopsy and toxicology studies were conducted. Results are usually available in about two weeks, Guynn said.
A 1988 graduate of Keyser High School, Riggleman was a basketball standout at the high school and college level. His obituary appears on page 4 in today’s News-Tribune.
