Suspect nabbed

GRANTSVILLE, W.Va. -

On Friday at approximately 4 a.m. the Grantsville Market was robbed at knifepoint. 
The suspect, Marty Shroyer (29, from Meyersdale, Pa.) only got around $ 500.00.  Maryland State Police personnel responded immediately to the scene, along with the Maryland State Police
Helicopter, and our K-9 unit. After suspect fled the scene of the crime he wrecked the vehicle he was operating on Rt. 669 in Pennsylvania. 
The suspect fled the scene of the collision.  Our personnel responded to the scene and working with Troopers from the Somerset Barracks of the Pennsylvania State Police the suspect was identified/arrested. 
Our K-9 tracked the suspect recovering evidence (what the evidence is will not to be released).  
The suspect is charged in Pennsylvania with a stolen vehicle and related traffic charges from the collision. 
Through the investigation the suspect will also be charged with the two other armed robberies which occurred on 5/25/2008 (Grantsville Market) and 6/1/2008 (Fuel City).
