INCIDENT: Malicious Destruction of Property

VICTIM INFORMATION: WISP Resort, Deep Creek Marina, Burger King
The Maryland State police are investigating a string of vandalisms in the McHenry area along Marsh Hill Rd. and Deep Creek Dr. Sometime between the above listed dates unknown suspect(s) spray painted graffiti on several buildings and street signs along Deep Creek Dr and Marsh Hill Rd. Unknown suspect(s) entered the main lodge of the WISP Resort sometime between 10:00 PM on 6/22/2008 and 6:00 AM on 6/23/2008 and spray painted graffiti in a stairwell. This is the second vandalism with graffiti that occurred at the WISP. The Garrett County Crime Solvers are offering at least $2,500 reward for information leading to the arrest of the suspect(s). • Deputy Weakley transported inmate Michael Casto from the Mineral County Detention Center to the Regional Jail in Augusta.
Deputy Weakley responded to a two vehicle accident at the intersection of State Route 28 and State Route 956 in Short Gap. Roger Henry of Ridgewood Drive, Ft. Ashby was stopped at a yield sign on 956 awaiting for traffic to clear on State Route 28.
Henry was operating a Harley Davidson motorcycle. Melissa Jean Nething of Woodsedge Road, Ft. Ashby was behind Henry, operating a Oldsmobile four door vehicle. Nething collided the front end of her vehicle into the rear of the motorcycle. No injuries and minor damage.
• Deputy Weakley and Deputy Marc Leatherman responded to a Domestic situation at 24 Jones Street in Piedmont. Piedmont PD was not available for the call. No arrests were made.
• Deputy Marc Leatherman received a complaint pertaining to Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor.

4:35 p.m. — Officers called by 911 office to possible overdose in the 100 block of East Street. Officers arrived, two females transported to Potomac Valley Hospital. No charges filed.
