Saturday, Feb. 13
2:32 a.m. -- Keyser City Police were alerted to two women who were reportedly entering a car on West Piedmont Street in an intoxicated state. Officers arrived as the car was preparing to exit a bar parking lot. While conducting the investigation, one of the women pushed both officers. Charged with first-offense DUI was Ann M. Edwards, 27, of Keyser, who was also charged with two counts of battery on a police officer and one count of refusing to give fingerprints. Charged with permitting DUI, by allowing Edwards to drive her car, was Shelley Rae Murphy, 29, of Keyser.
Sunday, Feb. 14
4:35 p.m. -- Officers were called to the rear of the Keyser House for a destruction of property complaint in which a vehicle's tire was slashed. The investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact Keyser City Police at 304-788-1311.
