"Great customer service, hard work and dedication will make a successful business," said Rebecca Moorehead who has and owned and still owns Dairy Queen for 12 years.
"Owning your own business has its advantages but takes a lot of hard work and dedication," said Becky Spiker. Spiker who has owned or still owns Hair Depot for 9 years, as well as, Burlington Rental; the 24-hour keyless tanning salon in Burlington and she has also owned Styles Unlimited for eight years.
"Entrepreneurship offers the freedom to pursue your dreams while contributing to the vitality of your community.  It also allows you to work any 70 hours a week you want," said Terry Stephens.  Stephens has owned or still owns Odyssey Books, S&J News, Terry Stephens and Associates which is now Coldwell Banker Homes Town Realty, TS&A Appraisers, Potomac Movies and Storage, Keyser Inn, Wind Lea Banquet Center, Lifestyle Fitness Center, Quail Hill Associates, Pine View Investments and T.S. &A construction.
