KEYSER - A Keyser man was jailed last week and charged with sexual abuse of a minor.

KEYSER - A Keyser man was jailed last week and charged with sexual abuse of a minor.
According to a spokesperson for the Keyser Police Department, a female walked into the KPD office Friday, Oct 26, to report the sexual assault of a juvenile. Officers investigated and arrested 19-year-old Joshua Edwin Bruce, of Keyser.
He was charged with sexual abuse o a minor and transported to Potomac Highland Regional Jail.
On Sunday, Oct. 28, at 7:24 a.m. officers also responded to a call from a local convenience  store for a disorderly person. Upon arrival they located 31-year-old Richard Cramer of Keyser, and he was charged with disorderly  conduct, public intoxication, trespassing, destruction of property and reporting a false emergency. The false emergency charge stemmed from Cramer allegedly stating that the police tried to kill him.
Cramer was transported to Potomac Highland Regional Jail, where he remains in lieu of $5,000 bond.
Keyser Police also responded to two calls for shoplifting. The first being Sunday, Oct. 21, at 2:30 p.m. when a call came in about a shoplifting incident. Officers located the male subject on West Piedmont Street and charged 30-year-old Nicholas Mongold of Keyser with shoplifting $58 worth of items.
He was cited and released.
On Saturday, Oct. 27, at 6:03 p.m., another call came in about a subject shoplifting. Officer arrived on scene and charged  41-year-old Kelly Lynn Clark of Westernport with shoplifting.
She was cited and released.
