KEYSER - The Keyser City Police have had a busy week responding to multiple calls ranging from trespassing to driving under the influence.
On Saturday, Oct. 6, at 9:42 p.m., Keyser received a call from an individual stating one of their neighbors had hit their parked vehicle on Orchard Street. Upon arrival, police made contact with the suspect and noted that he was unsteady on his feet and struggling with balance. They also noticed a strong smell of alcohol. As a result, 68-year-old John Stone of Keyser was arrested for aggravated DUI and transported to Potomac Highland Regional Jail.
Officers also responded to a call for an individual who wouldn’t leave a residence earlier that day, at 9:09 p.m. The caller stated that a man was in a residence on Third Street and was asked to eave. The man was making threats and kicking the door of the residence.
Officers responded and issued a trespassing citation to Henry Dawson, 48, of Keyser. He was cited and released.
On Monday, Oct. 1, officers also came upon an individual that they were familiar with and knew she had an outstanding warrant issued for her. Officers therefore took 26-year-old Andria Doman of Burlington into custody for a warrant for failure to appear.
She was transported to Potomac Highland Regional Jail.
