KEYSER - Mineral County Schools honored their retirees for the current year with a dinner this week in the fellowship hall at Bonnieview Apostolic Church.

KEYSER - Mineral County Schools honored their retirees for the current year with a dinner this week in the fellowship hall at Bonnieview Apostolic Church.
Superintendent of schools Shawn Dilly served as the emcee for the occasion, and noted that the teachers and service personnel represented service of 14 to 46 years to the county and its children.
Shelley Friend, representing First United Bank & Trust, which co-hosted the dinner, congratulated the retirees.
Each retiree present was then introduced and given a gift from the county:
Susan Grady, director of personnel services, introduced teacher Tada Ware from Fort Ashby Primary School.
Principal Joe Riley introduced teachers John Ritchie and Steven Shore from Frankfort High School.
Assistant superintendent Kevin Shupe introduced service personnel Karen Fisher from Frankfort Middle School.
Assistant principal Loretta Mick introduced special education teacher Cynthia Ravenscroft from Keyser High School.
Principal Dr. Edward Holler introduced teacher Dan Dawson from Keyser Middle School.
Kenneth Baker, director of support services, introduced bus operator Dave Spencer from the Transportation Department.
Other retirees who were unable to attend the dinner included:
County office: Susan Ray.
Fort Ashby Primary School: Tamra Hansford and Lorraine Mangold.
Frankfort High School: Linda Dean and Kimberly Peretti.
Frankfort Middle School:  Theresa Easton.
Keyser High School: Kathryn Delaney.
Keyser Middle School: Robyn Carlson, Cary Kyle and Michael Liller.
Keyser Primary School: Deborah Amtower, Michelle McRae, April Minshall, Judy O’Hara and Deborah Wallizer.
Wiley Ford Primary School: Dorothy Shields.
