CUMBERLAND - The Western Maryland Health System and the Mineral Daily News Tribune are excited to announce our co-sponsorship of “Wellness Weekends,” a bright, fresh take on how to life a healthier lifestyle.
As a result of the collaboration, “Wellness Weekends” information will be featured every week in the Today’s Shopper, a weekly publication of the News Tribune.
The informational campaign kicks off this week, with a focus on strokes - how to prevent them and how to detect when someone is suffering a stroke.
The Western Maryland Health System is designated as a primary stroke center by the Maryland Institute for Emergency Medical Services System, and offers a team of neurologists, neurosurgeons, radiologists, therapists and more who are available to provide the best possible care for stroke victims.
For further information on strokes other other health care issues, contact the WMHS at 240-964-7000.
