KEYSER - Audiences will be transported to the mystical Chocolate Factory beginning next week when Potomac State College presents the musical “Willy Wonka.”

The story begins when chocolate master Willy Wonka announces he is retiring and must find someone to carry on in his place. He puts out the word that he has included a golden ticket in five special Wonka chocolate bars which entitle five children to a special tour of his factory.
One young boy - Charlie Bucket - from a family so poor they couldn’t afford a chocolate bar - discovers the fifth ticket in a bar given to him by a shopkeeper he was helping pack up his wares.
The five golden ticket holders gather at the factory for their tour, and are drawn into a fantastical fantasy world where everything is made of candy and the Oompa Loompas provide the keep everything moving.
