RIDGELEY – Ridgeley resident Nick Imes was selected by the council this week to fill the unexpired council seat left vacant when Commissioner Butch Hawse was sworn in as mayor following the passing of late Mayor Lynn Carr.

RIDGELEY – Ridgeley resident Nick Imes was selected by the council this week to fill the unexpired council seat left vacant when Commissioner Butch Hawse was sworn in as mayor following the passing of late Mayor Lynn Carr.
Imes is a junior political science major at West Virginia University. He attended Potomac State College, where he was elected student body president. In addition, he was also the student body president at Frankfort High School.
He was recently appointed as regional campus liaison, working with WVU and its campuses in both Keyser and Beckley.
