KEYSER - Ghouls and ghosts will be heading for downtown Keyser a little early this year, as a group of businesses host Halloween on Main on the Saturday before Halloween.

KEYSER - Ghouls and ghosts will be heading for downtown Keyser a little early this year, as a group of businesses host Halloween on Main on the Saturday before Halloween.
Led by the Indie on Main Art House (former Keyser Theater), 11 businesses will be handing out treats to the youngsters who show up up costume from 2-4 p.m.
Those businesses taking part thus far include: Noticeably Chic, Warrior Fitness, The Smoke Ring BBQ and Sandwich Shop, J&K Primitives, J&S Pawn Shop, S&H Variety Thrift & Gift, the Royal Restaurant, Martie’s Hot Dog Stand, Gotham Gaming, D&B Thrift and In the Skin Tattoo.
At 3:30 p.m., the Indie Art House will host a costume contest on their stage, and will also offer games, a photo booth, candy corn relays, Pin the Stem on the Pumpkin, Mummy Wrap, and more
Children may start signing up for the costume contest at 2 p.m.
After the costume contest, the Indie will present a special showing of the Halloween classic “Hocus Pocus.”
Cost for the movie is $3 for children, and $4 for adults; all over events are free.
The Friday night before the Halloween on Main, Oct. 27, the Indie will be showing the 1933 H.G. Wells classic “The Invisible Man” at 6:30 p.m. and 8 p.m.
