KEYSER - Warm the Children is getting ready to kick off its 2017 campaign to provide warm winter clothing to Mineral County Children in need, and is currently seeking volunteers to help the families shop for the much-needed items.
According to Dayla Harvey, WTC coordinator, there are over 530 children on the shopping list this year.
Harvey says volunteers are the key to the success of the program.
“We sincerely appreciate every family you take shopping, every extra phone call you make to contact that hard-to-reach parent, every fund raising activity you help with and every opportunity you take to increase our campaign donations,” she said.
Those wishing to volunteer with the program - which devotes every single dollar raised to purchasing clothing for the children - are asked to call 304-788-9099 and ask for Dayla.
