KEYSER- The Keyser City Police had a rather busy weekend responding to multiple calls.
Police responded to the 400 block of Virginia Street  t 1:15 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 30, for a call of a domestic violence situation in progress.
Upon arrival, officers located a male and female in the residence. Both of the subjects had visible evidence of assault. Officers charged 24-year-old Kristin Marie Rich of Keyser, and 57-year-old Thomas Joseph Williams of Keyser with domestic assault.
Both of the subjects were transferred to Potomac Highlands Regional Jail in Augusta.
Later that evening officers responded to the Keyser Mall for a report of an individual who was shoplifting.
Upon arrival there, officers located 34-year-old Bobbie Jean Tasker of Keyser, and charged her with first offense shoplifting for $23 worth of items. She was issued a citation and released.
On Sunday, Oct. 1, at 9:19 a.m. police responded to the 10 block of North Main Street for a report of someone beating on a door. Upon arrival officers located 30-year-old Ashby Owen Doman Jr., of Keyser.
Doman already had a no trespassing order for the address.
After a search of his person, officers found one pill for which the subject did not have a prescription.
Officers charge Doman with misdemeanor possession and trespassing. He was cited on scene and released.
