CHARLESTON - Based on dialogue and information received at a town hall meeting in Keyser this week, West Virginia Governor Jim Justice has directed the West Virginia Division of Highways to begin the Tier 2 Environmental Impact Analysis for US 220, in Grant, Hardy, Hampshire and Mineral counties. In doing so, Governor Justice has ensured that, as soon as a funding source can be identified, the WVDOH will move to construction at the earliest opportunity. "I am committed to seeing the upgrade and expansion of US 220 in the Potomac Highlands, " said Gov. Justice. "The DOH will start the Environmental Impact Analysis and we will move the ball forward on this road project."
