WILEY FORD - A Pennsylvania woman has died from injuries sustained Sunday when the vehicle in which she was riding collided with a second vehicle in Wiley Ford.

WILEY FORD - A Pennsylvania woman has died from injuries sustained Sunday when the vehicle in which she was riding collided with a second vehicle in Wiley Ford.
According to the Keyser Detachment, West Virginia State Police, Troopers responded to a two-vehicle crash on Frankfort Highway at the intersection of Airport Road in Wiley Ford at approximately 2:11 p.m. Sunday.
The crash investigation revealed Levi Brant, age 20, from Berlin, Pennsylvania, was operating a 2008 Subaru Impreza southbound on Frankfort Highway. He came to a complete stop while waiting on northbound traffic to clear so he could turn left onto Airport Road.
Betty Bujac, age 85, from Cumberland, was operating a 2011 Cadillac SRX4; also traveling southbound on Frankfort Highway behind Brant. She failed to stop and struck the rear of Brant’s vehicle with the front of her vehicle.
The impact forced Brant’s vehicle onto Airport Road, where it came to rest. Ms. Bujac’s vehicle traveled through the corner of Erie Insurance parking lot and struck a flag pole, knocking it over, and coming to rest.
Brant had two passengers in his vehicle - William Brant, 18,  from Berlin,  and Lois Brant, 72, also from Berlin.
Both were transported to Western Maryland Health Systems, where Mrs. Brant subsequently died as a result of injuries sustained in the crash. William Brant’s injuries were non-life threatening. Levi Brant and Ms. Bujac did not sustain injuries.
The crash remains under investigation by the West Virginia State Police.
