This is the second time the convenience store has been robbed in a three-day period.

This is the second time the convenience store has been robbed in a three-day period.
According to the Allegany County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the business at the end of Memorial Bridge at approximately 9:30 p.m. Sunday.
Upon investigating the incident, they learned that a white male entered the business with his face covered and removed an undisclosed sum of money from the cash register after brandishing a weapon.
The male then fled the area.
A search of the area with the assistance of Keyser City Police, Mineral County Sheriff’s Office, Maryland State Police, Maryland Department of Natural Resources Police, MSP Aviation-Trooper 5 and a Cumberland City Police K9 yielded no results.
Detectives from C3I also responded to the scene.
The first robbery occurred at approximately 1:06 a.m. Friday, when a male suspect wearing dark clothing and bandanas to cover his face displayed a knife and removed an unknown amount of cash from the cash register.
That subject fled the scene on foot, heading toward an adjacent liquor store, and is believed to have gotten into a vehicle there, fleeing north on U.S. Route 220.
