KEYSER - An open house and ribbon cutting ceremony took place for the new facility of the Aging & Family Services of Mineral County, located on Mineral Street, Keyser.

Among the dignitaries present for the event were: Scott Mallery, executive director of the agency; Doris Nield, founder of the agency in 1974; Louie Kitzmiller, director of finance for the agency; staff members of the agency; Bob Schadler, board chairman, and numerous board members; Scott Gossard, director of the Upper Potomac Area Agency on Aging; Delegate Ruth Rowan; Mineral County Commissioners Dr. Richard Lechliter and Jerry Whisner; Kevin Clark, executive director of Mineral County .Development Authority; and Anne Palmer, executive director of the Mineral County Chamber of Commerce.
