Laura Biser has been selected to reign as the 2008 Valentine Queen for the Beta Omicron chapter of Beta Sigma Phi.

Biser has been an active member of Beta Omicron since 2004.  She resides in Westernport with her husband Jamie and their two daughters.  Biser is employed by the Allegany County Board of Education as a substitute teacher.

She is also the PTA president at Westernport Elementary and is very active in her church.

Biser will be crowned at the sorority's Valentine Dance on February 16, 2008 from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.  The dance will be held at Victory Post 155 in Westernport. Bob Lupton will provide the music.

The cost for the dance is $7 per person or $14 per couple at the door.
