FSU senior to perform organ recital in Bedford

Frostburg State University student organist and Bedford (Pa.) local Jesse Topper will present his Senior Recital on Friday, Feb. 22, at 7 p.m. at the Bedford United Methodist Church, 132 E. John St., in Bedford.

Topper’s performance will be highlighted by “Trumpet Voluntary” by Henry Purcell, “Three Gospel Hymn Preludes” arranged by Wilbur Held and “Halleluiah Chorus” by George F. Handel. He will also perform selections from Johann Sebastian Bach, Felix Mendelssohn and Louis Claude D’Aquin.

Graduating in May 2008, Topper is seeking a degree in Music Performance and currently serves as the Minister of Fine Arts at Bedford United Methodist Church.

The recital is free and open to the public.
