    86, of Burlington
    BURLINGTON, W.Va. - Eloree Jean Bolton, 86, of Burlington, died on Friday, August 10, 2012 at Potomac Valley Hospital.
    Born June 1, 1926 in Headsville, she was a daughter of the late Edgar Head and Birdie M. (Stickley) McDonald. She was also preceded in death by her brother Charles Hetzel McDonald.
    Mrs. Bolton was a graduate of Keyser High School, Potomac State College and received a BS degree in Journalism and English from West Virginia University. She was formerly employed as a Staff Writer for the Mineral County Daily News Tribune. She was a member of the Headsville United Methodist Church. Eloree loved her family, her cats, her community and West Virginia University athletics.
    Surviving are her nephew Charles Edgar McDonald and wife Karen of Keyser; a sister-in-law, Eleanor F. McDonald of Burlington; a step-nephew, David Smith and a step-niece, Cathy Beeseck and husband Terry, both of Burlington.
    Friends will be received at the Markwood Funeral Home, Keyser on Monday, August 13, 2012 from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral Services will be conducted at Headsville United Methodist Church at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 with the Reverend Brenda Forren and the Reverend Brenda Shreve officiating. Friends will be received one hour prior to services. Interment will follow in Headsville Cemetery.
