ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Diane E. Long, formerly of Keyser, and William R. “Bill” Bean of St. Petersburg, Fla., happily celebrated their eighth wedding anniversary on May 22, 2010.
Diane and Bill met at Potomac State College in 2001, where Diane was employed in the academic dean's office from 1988-2002.
They were married in 2002 at Red Rock Canyon, Nev., and renewed their wedding vows with a  recommitment ceremony on their seventh anniversary in 2009.
Diane is currently employed in the executive offices of AAA Auto Club South in the Westshore area of Tampa, Fla., and Bill is the owner of Gibralter Books, a wholesale textbook company based in Annapolis, Md.
Bill's daughter, Andrea, resides in Sunbury, Ohio, with her husband Nathan and their 2-year-old son, Jacob Aiden.
Diane and Bill enjoy spending time together traveling; photographing natural areas and wildlife; dining out; attending museum, theater and concert events, as well as professional and college sporting events; Indy car racing; and cheering for their favorite teams (Washington Redskins, Pittsburgh Steelers, Pittsburgh Penguins, Baltimore Orioles, Ohio State Buckeyes and Penske Racing).
The reside on the shore of Tampa Bay in downtown St. Petersburg.
