On Sunday at approximately 2:10 a.m., officers from the Allegany County Police were patrolling the area of Main Street in Westernport when they observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed on Main Street.
Officers conducted a traffic stop and observed a white male subject, later identified as Timothy Wayne Newcomb, 36, of Westernport. Newcomb was given sobriety tests and arrrested for DUI. During a computer check of Newcomb,
it was found that Newcomb was suspended, revoked and had warrants in Carroll, Queen Annes and Kent Counties. Newcomb was taken to the Allegany County District Court and held on $5000 bond.
